There is a known issue when logging in to the 1Password application after it is restarted or locked. 


A prompt will appear in the default browser to confirm SSO (Single sign-on) login to 1Password:

 

 

 

After clicking Continue, the account remains locked in the application.

 

This was addressed in a recent update to the application but was still experienced after the update.

 

If this happens:

  1. Open the default browser on the device experiencing the problem.
  2. Log in to https://cune.1password.com
  3. Complete multifactor authentication. 
  4. Leave this window open. 
  5. Log in to the browser extension or application to unlock it. 
  6. It will see the account is connected in the default browser and proceed to unlock.


This has been found to fix most, though not all, problems signing in to apps. Please contact the Helpdesk if this does not solve your problem.
