On Tuesday February 27, 2024, an email will be sent to all eligible associates to join 1Password. This message will come from the email address account@1Password.com with the subject "Join Concordia University, Nebraska on 1Password." We recommend setting aside about 30 minutes to set up the account and install applications. Longer may be needed if you import from other sources.


  1. Open this message and click Join Now.



  2. The default web browser will open with a page similar to this:



  3. Press Sign in with Microsoft to create the account.
  4. The message below will appear:



  5. This approval happens on our servers automatically every five minutes.
  6. A confirmation email will arrive once complete.
    • The confirmation email will be from accounts@1password.com with the subject "Welcome to 1Password!"
    • This email contains our sign-in address (add this to Favorites or Bookmarks if desired).



  7. There are also links to the app download site and 1Password's user guide.



  8. Navigate to https://cune.1password.com.
  9. Click Sign in with Microsoft.



  10. The home page should look similar to this:



  11. You may begin installing apps and updating your information.
  12. This web browser is now considered a trusted device; leave it open while installing apps and browser extensions as it will prompt to trust these new devices.
