Students and employees of Concordia University are each assigned a unique identifier, commonly known as the “J” number.


It is the letter J, followed by 8 digits; for example, J12345678. One way to find your J number is to view a web page in Banner. Your J number is listed in the upper-right corner.

  1. Log in to the portal at portal.cune.edu



  2. Click the Academic Life tab. Under Banner Self-Service, click Student > Registration > Select Term


  3. Your J number will be displayed in the upper-right corner of the web page along with your name.
